I don’t have access to ________ (digital resource/tool/BLEND classes). What I can I do?

  • Frontline SIS is how Austin ISD connects teachers and students to classes and online resources.
  • If you do not have access to courses in BLEND, please verify with the person who handles scheduling on your campus.
  • Once scheduled in Frontline, it is usually 24-48 hours for course tiles and associated resources to become available.

When will ____________ be rostered?

  • Austin ISD works with several outside companies to provide educational resources to our learning community. There are a few different systems that are used. This can cause difference in the speed with which things get rostered.
  • You may reference bit.ly/aisdinstructionaltools (available to AISD users only) to check on the roster status of various online resources.

Why is there a new grading option when I assign a BLEND assignment using the Google LTI?

  • BLEND/Canvas has a new option for Google LTI assignments that allow you to select whether you’d like the assignment to be graded in the traditional BLEND/Canvas Speedgrader, or through Google’s version of the speedgrader.
  • These feature release notes are a great place to learn more about the update and what each option entails.
  • As a reminder, you can learn more about the different Google assignment options you have as a teacher within BLEND/Canvas (as well as pull student facing resources to support assignment submission) at https://bit.ly/aisdgooglesubmission.

How do I filter by grading period in my BLEND gradebook?

  • Your assignment settings and due dates impact which grading period assignments go into in your BLEND gradebook. This is a screencast for how to filter specifically by grading period.
  • The grading periods in BLEND are set to match the official Austin ISD calendar. As we move from one grading period to the next, your BLEND gradebook filters may automatically adjust to the current grading period.

What other filters are available in the BLEND gradebook?
